Low-frequency absorber for ceiling suspension and wall mounting

The low-frequency absorber dur-SONIC by durlum optimizes the acoustic characteristics in particular in lower frequencies. It is an ideal supplement for traditional noise absorbers that are typically working in the medium and high frequency ranges. The sandwich-type resonator dur-SONIC can be mounted in three different ways: suspended from the ceiling, directly to the wall and at a certain distance of the wall. Wall mounting has a positive effect on the horizontal sound fi eld. The installation at a certain distance from the wall additionally enhances the noise absorption in higher frequencies, which can be increased even more by perforated lateral edges.

The dimensions of dur-SONIC depend on the acoustic requirements and the room geometry [Standard dimensions: 800 x 800 mm, 1,200 x 1,100 mm, 1,800 x 800 mm]. The color of the low-frequency absorber may be chosen to match the room. dur-SONIC can be powder-coated in any RAL color, and can thus also be used as projection screen.
