40 years of durlum – 40 years of lights and metal ceilings

An occasion to celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere with our employees, their families, and guests from all over the world in the Stadthalle, Schopfheim.

The jubilee celebration opened with speeches by our managing directors, Matthias and Peter Reuter, who glanced at the past and present of durlum GmbH, and even ventured some intentions for the future.

This was followed by congratulatory speeches by the Mayor of Schopfheim, Christof Nitz, and the managing directors of the subsidiary companies, which demonstrated the stability and flexibility of durlum and the durlum Group. Properties which were reflected in the theme colour of the jubilee – green!

Green symbolises regeneration, dynamism and freshness. We have done a great deal in the past years and achieved much, and we can all take pride in that. A readiness to innovate, ability and flexibility are the values which have made durlum into an enterprise active throughout the world. Projects like Changi Airport in Singapore and BMW Welt in Munich set standards in our markets. Being active worldwide also means staying dynamic, and continually testing ourselves and regenerating.

During the morning and afternoon our guests had the opportunity to convince themselves of this by visiting our works, seeing our range of machinery, and gaining an impression of our production and project procedures.
