Special recognition for durlum at light + building 2006

For the fourth time in succession durlum receives an innovation award.

After winning first prize in the years 2000 and 2002, and, repeating the success of 2004, this year too durlum received "Special Recognition" for its Terminal 3 project at Changi Airport, Singapore in the sector Light and Lighting Technology together with Wieland Electric GmbH, Bamberg.

The prize, awarded by the architecture magazines AIT and xia – Intelligente Architektur together with Messe Frankfurt, was presented at the lighting and architecture exhibition "light + building" in the categories Lighting, and Building Technology. A total of 32 participants, among them architects, specialist planners and industrial companies competed with 53 projects. Eleven of them received awards, six in the category Lighting, and five in Building Technology. The special award was collected for durlum by Managing Director Peter Reuter (fourth from the left in the photo) and Project Manager Michael Brogle (second from the left).
